.@thewritingsquad for having the best writers in the NW π And of course, @georgia_writes for helping to organise it all. It's not a forever thing: I'm making time for my own creativity, less admin. So stay off Twitter, make the music you want to make, and remember: artists do.

A big thank you to the players and team, especially @jeremysalter14 who did an amazing job on the flute concerto. Thank you to Andrew Biswell and Will Carr at @anthonyburgess for backing us and being such a key partner. Special thanks to @FatRoland for being so helpful every time

This last project was really important to me as I had a reasonable amount of time to study the music and prepare for rehearsals. I'm really proud of where we got the music and it felt like an arrival as a conductor. Still, breathing and smiling now and then wouldn't hurt π

π big love to everybody on the @KendalCalling team. Must be heartbreaking cancelling after making all sorts of contingency plans
π£ "It's a complete farce" Andy Smith from @KendalCalling tells @rachelburden they've cancelled the festival for a second year in a row due to the "complete absence of any guidance" from the government around how it could run safely π² Read more: https://t.co/lngIDvK4z0
