Every framework has been through a time where it is mature with enough features but just to be in the market they need to provide extras.
reading the latest nextjs hn thread reminds me. legacy frameworks have a certain feel. heavy, ton of features, papercuts in dx. nextjs is that - it won and is the default choice and is really no different than java spring. it's not obvious because it has good branding.

This is really really cool.
I still can't believe this happened; I spent four hours 1:1 with my inspiration, who sparked my love for engineering. Pranav is someone who inspired me (and an entire generation) to see engineering as art (no exaggerations here). I never imagined I'd meet him one day, but I did.

At this time I hate the media of my country. People were calling them #GodiMedia for whatever they were doing but things they did in the last one week, I just hate to call them media anymore. They're just a bunch of clowns running an entertainment show which isn't even funny.
