So, adding all those states was misleading... considering 26% of families in the South in 1860 had some type of slave operations.

When almost anyone goes to prison, they are victims of the system. You act like most prisoners are there for violence, DV is a misdemeanor, most folks who DV never see prison. Most convicts got locked up for drugs & theft. Crimes we did to feed our families or our addictions.
