I finally watched Captain America Brave New World. Mackie killed it & action was solid. Sabra felt miscast. Editing was choppy. Villain's motives were weak. Not quite as bad and woke as the hype, just really rough around the edges. Fun but flawed.

I figured out all my wifi problems over the past 2 weeks were because I had somehow created a 2nd identical network, all on 192.168.1.* instead of .68.*, and depending on your location in the house, you may have valid internet or not! I swear I'm an expert. :facepalm:.

I found the secret to faster cooking in my electric smoker - just open the vent, which convects more air. Last time, chicken breast took over 4 hours. This time 97 minutes and way more moist!

The recent chrome extension changes have made life on chrome unpleasant. Even some Chromebook apps no longer work because of this. I'm quitting Google Chrome.

Unfortunately I have no idea what to do with the greasy, fried, unhealthy leftovers - the beef cracklins. Salt & pepper makes them taste better but they're still greasy as honk.

One cool side-effect of doing a whole brisket is the beef tallow you can pretty easily make from the trimmings. I am learning so much in this process, it's really neat.

PC upgrade update: . The parts are great, very fast, need new games to exercise it. Windows 11 installer was slow and I accidentally deleted an unrelated partition! Attempting recovery is either difficult or expensive.
