Except for the fact that in their nascence, these traditions weren’t simply spreading the good news of their faith. They were actively proselytizing in service of conquering perceived enemies and expanding political territory. In other words, this was never about sharing stories.

I think a lot of our public discourse on religion would be improved if people understood that Christianity, like Islam, is a proselytizing faith, and it is normal for people who believe they've found a compelling faith with eternal ramifications to want to share it.

The position that Mamdani articulates here is not controversial. It’s historically accurate. In fact, it’s been widely written about for years. But stupid people like Matt Walsh either can’t or don’t want to think critically because doing so upsets their delusion of superiority.

The entire Mamdani family should be expelled from the country. Ungrateful, anti-American parasites have no right to be here.

It’s absolutely uncontroversial for people who know history. Hitler and the Nazi regime patterned their race laws on the American example, and admitted having done so. Pick up a book. Maybe, this one.

Gosh, I know what you mean. Look at these Christian extremists storming the streets of Houston, forcing “the King of Kings” on everyone. This is Christian terror. Round them all up, strip them of their citizenship, and deport them all.

Notice Matt’s language: “white American Christian.” That seems to be the measure, for him, of what it means to be an American. Whiteness and Christianity are the standard, and anyone who doesn’t fit those groups will always be a suspect and an outsider. But tsk, tsk, tsk. What do

Muslims have been treated far better here, and have been far more welcomed, than any white American Christian would be in any Muslim country. There wasn’t any sort of campaign of persecution and oppression against Muslims after 9-11. In fact the government went absurdly out of

“Islamists” are no different than garden-variety Christian nationalists. This country has plenty of those. You can’t just prance through the republic rounding folks up because they want their religion to inform public life. And how do you know who an “Islamist” is to begin with?

Apart from the fact that you’re slicing a segment of this speech to purvey anti-Muslim hate, there’s an argument to make that post-9/11, Muslims were absolutely victims — and in numbers that far surpassed those 3K Americans killed on that tragic Tuesday morning. The “War on

Charlie Kirk didn’t “see what was coming with Zohran.” He was sadly a person with a long history of saying derogatory and prejudiced things about marginalized populations, like Muslims or Black people. That’s not foresight or wisdom. It’s bigotry.

Before Charlie was killed, he started to speak loudly about the importation of radical Islamic values into America. He saw what was coming with Zohran. If we’re going to continue Charlie’s mission, we have to fight like hell against Zohran’s agenda.

There is not one bit of evidence that suggests that “mainstream Muslims” want to impose Sharia. And there’s not one single instance of that ever happening. Ever. It’s a baseless claim made by bigots like Randy Fine, who fear Muslims and want to make others afraid, too.

America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. That is the bedrock of our culture. Mainstream Muslims want to replace it with Sharia. They must be stopped.

It's absolutely not made up. Scholars generally agree that as many as 30% of slaves were Muslims. Not that you care to read (if you're even able), but Allan Austin's study of African Muslims in antebellum America is one example of this.

I’ve studied Islamophobia for more than 15 years and I’ve never witnessed anything like the vile anti-Muslim rhetoric circulating on this site today. Between Trump 2.0, the decimation of Gaza, and the rise of Zohran Mamdani, anti-Muslim hate is at a dangerous new level.

I’d like these people to explain what this looks like in practice. Do they mean we round up Muslims and deport them? Force them to convert to Christianity? Tattoo their foreheads so they can be identified? This is Nazism in 2025.
