Over the years they layer on additional charges that appear essential to the untrained eye. - PHP Extended Support (rather than helping users to upgrade) - Email 'firewalls' (I don't even know what they're selling half the time) - Multiple hosting packages (when one would do)

I consistently find myself coming back to IONOS as a hosting platform. Solid offerings, cheap prices. But as I've started to help friends & family out with their sites, I do wonder if their cheap pricing is supplemented by the number of money-making methods they employ...
