#DEI is not a four letter word. It’s not a mechanism for #discrimination against white men. It is acceptance of the #reality that more points of view bring more #innovation and better #solutions for today, and more #diverse problems to solve tomorrow.

All code is temporary. Trying to make it perfect so it doesn't have to change is futile, and hacking it out as if you'll never have to come back to it is a recipe for disaster.

Nothing like annual corporate workplace discrimination and harassment training to remind me of all of the situations I’ve been in and heard about that apply. It makes me sick to my stomach that this training is even necessary. But it’s absolutely still necessary.
