The EREA may like to consider appointing a female as the next principal of St Kevin’s. Being a female at an all boys school is hard enough let alone being the principle. Especially at St Kevin’s. It’d be a start though, but most definitely not at anywhere near close to an end.

We need to keep in mind that when students are engaged in tasks that require rich conversations and deep conceptual thinking in mathematics, they are also, simultaneously, learning/strengthening/consolidating what is often referred to as "the basics."
