I have posted about the fabulous Hexagon Hotel in Minerals Wells a couple of times, but never this photo. The hotel was built in 1895 by David G. Galbraith — the inventor of the paper clip and co-developer of acetate synthetic fiber. The twelve-sided hotel was clad in clapboard

I remember hours spent in a combine with my Pappy, watching out the back window at the moving parts. Such a thrill. Machinery has always fascinated me.

This is such a great story, given the fact that I have a huge stack of flour sacks saved by my grandmother. The colorful patterns are very unique. She used them for quilt squares.

In 1930s, flour and grain sacks were made of cloth, primarily cotton. During the Great Depression, the Kansas Wheat Company noticed that poor families were reusing these sacks to sew dresses for women and girls. In a gesture of pure kindness, the company began printing the sacks

Val Kilmer was difficult to work with?” question that was asked on a convention panel, Michael Biehn replied, "I don't know." Then, after a brief pause, he added. "I never met Val Kilmer while filming Tombstone. I only met Doc Holliday."

Tim Conway fell down the stairs twice as fast during rehearsals so Harvey Korman and Carol Burnett weren't ready for how slow he'd fall during the taping. They had no choice but to turn from the camera and hide their laughter 😂
