Biggest statement yet in the book: the Amazon was under Terra forming for good when Europeans landed and ruined everything.

@DynamicWebPaige Britta channeling her powers finally as seen through the eyes of Deka. I can see this trilogy in to a TV show or movies soon. Its only a matter of time before a network show sees the potential.

I believe this was an unknown fact about Iron Throne. No sword used in its construction belonged to a warrior from North. Honor. The North Remembers.

A Baratheon was the first ever Hand of King. And a Baratheon was also the first king after ending the Targaryen rule. GRRM, give us the next book.

Last weekend’s successful library trip. I cannot believe library had an illustrated version of word of ice and fire lying around. 😌

Even in broken universities, some good science still happens. Curious, difficult people keep showing up and asking real questions anyway.

Its a good thing Veo3 only lets me make 3 videos a day and I quietly go back to making theories. Tools are doing massive work in the background already in mysterious ways.

Oh I just realized the gold stones look like precious metal nodules sitting in the Clarion-Clipperton Zone waiting to be extracted for our energy storage needs.

I think it makes sense though. Employees don’t get windows in offices, sunlight is harmful to productivity 😂. So having no plants is logical.

The hatred for plants in office is also cyclical in history. And the choices here for them is astounding. WaMu bank is interesting, I am so glad to pick this book from library.

Awesome service. If LLM’s didn’t hallucinate so much, stuff would be faster to produce. Great great idea and service.

I would like a library service where I put in the age and general interests of my kids and I get a curated bag of 10 books that I can pick up weekly. Is that so lazy? Yes. but my kids pulling every book off the shelf just for me to say “that’s not appropriate” isn’t working lol.

what if base models are just way smarter than us already, like the aliens in Arrival, and fine-tuning just dumbs them down to our level? . i'm so smart.

Arguments from the past and seeing the evolution of scientific knowledge is corner stone of this book. Academic feuds help discovery in strange ways.

Where are scientific conferences where clash of theories happen in today’s world? That’s my constant demand over past two years. ‘…scientific ignorance, the archeologist version of trying to design perpetual motion machines.’

The constant urge to validate numbers from universal atomistic machine learning models, aka AI, with DFT is maddening. I hope it never ends.
