Whenever I feel down about how a class is going I always remind myself that even though I’m not teaching specifically archaeology courses (they’re ancient art) I have had at least 3 people declare majors/minors in the last two weeks 🥺

Saw Haunted Mansion in a nearly empty theater and walking past my AMC's Barbie photo opp display with free props that moms and daughters were still happily enjoying on the film's 2nd weekend, I couldn't stop thinking about how the industry needs "event" films.
