It’s only in Uganda where a pseudo elite group (SUUBI) has spent almost 2 decades terrorizing the political class unabated, in Buganda! Finally their reign of terror has met it’s match! #courtjesters #suubi #nupUganda #Mpuuga

3rd Party insurance is a scam that is managed by a cartel! The dividends are shared btn highly placed individuals and the compensation from this mandatory car insurance is impossible & lengthy to access in the many accident cases!

Third Party Insurance is fraud. It’s now used by police to collect fines from the road users. Before being zealous in fines, first ensure the policy benefits third parties in accidents otherwise it’s double extortion from citizens. Police is aiding insurers to collect free money.

@NickKristof The WHO estimates that almost 1/3 of women worldwide have experienced physical or sexual violence. A 2013 UN survey found that almost 1/4 of men in 6 Asian countries acknowledged that they had raped someone https://t.co/2pAsCTbQmB

It’s implausible to expect scholars with insecure jobs to offer innovative claims about history when they can easily be fired for doing so. Instead, history will be studied increasingly by the wealthy, which is to say those able to work without pay https://t.co/tCd86BFkwU

Road accidents continue to kill Ugandans in large numbers. Not a sound from the cabinet. Any murmurs from parliament?

I’ve read a 19 page missive from Minister Amongi to @nssfug Board Chairman on why reappointment of NSSF MD is stopped. The letter shows that it followed a meeting at Gen Saleh’s Kapeeka home. It’s clear MD Byarugaba lost “support” of Saleh & Mr M7 for defying their directives!

In Uganda, ancient sites that hold both ecological, spiritual and cultural significance have been desecrated as we watch! Not only do we lose tourism potential but also lose a part of our heritage! #kitagatahotsprings #tanda and many others! Some claim that those sites are evil!

Important message 👉🏼 economic development cannot come at the cost of destroying our ecology or ancient civilisational structures. It’s time for us to become aware and push back against the greed driven colonisation of our ancient sites. #joshimathsinking #Joshimathcrisis

This business of the Government of Uganda buying fleets of cars for Civil Servants at the expense of tax payers is not feasible! Rwanda and Kenya have a more sustainable loan scheme! @rwomchechen @Rwakakamba @UGIndependent @SpireJim
