There's lots of talk about values but what are they? And how do you go about figuring out what yours are? This insightful article is a great read. It defines values as opposed to goals and shows us the path to working out our own...-

Wow...this brought me right back to myself this morning. Busy lives and putting family first (always) means it's easy to forget about yourself and who you are. It's full on looking out for others but sometimes you have to look out for 'you'.

Totally agree working less hours increases productivity!!
Is shortening the working week the key to increasing colleague engagement? A recent @guardian article got me thinking. I've realized working less than 5 days has made me happier & more productive. @myworkpatch @WorkLifeHUB @4Day_Week @WorkLife_blog

Need 2 case studies for next blog on flexiworking and creating desk space. 1) https://t.co/siHiyc71ay who has created a home office. 2) Someone who has had to get creative in making a desk/office area. Email myworkpatch@gmail if happy to be interviewed and can send hi-res pics 😊

Fresh air and exercise are such great stimulants. We were up early this morning and sketched out the next blog post in our minds...at least I did, not so sure about my blog partner 🐶

This is the age of outrage, it seems, where everyone is up in arms about something...anything...only they aren't exactly sure what. It's far healthier to figure out what you are 'for' rather what you are 'against'.

Why do we only think about putting boundaries into place after they have been crossed? Is it because we have a natural tendency to trust others, or is it that we've never been taught this kind of thing? 🤔🤔

Put yourself on the front foot when it comes to making school lunches. 1. Draw up a weekly school lunch timetable - this honestly took me about 20 minutes. 2. Write down all the ingredients you need through the week. 3. Do your grocery shop on a Friday.

It's Father's Day NEXT weekend here in New Zealand. If you are not organised yet, do it tomorrow...else it will niggle you all week long. Cut your stress and get organised...

Absolutely agree! It was just the other day that I thought I was battling against other people when I realised that despite their behaviour, ultimately it was up to me. I.e. I could choose not to put up with it. It was like a lightbulb moment 💡😊

There are FOUR main barriers to getting organised: 1. Time 2. Money 3. Other people 4. Yourself It's no surprise that No.4 is the biggest 😳You might think (like I did) that others are to blame...but, ultimately, you are the one in charge...right?
