I think the reason I love guitar so much is bc the instruments/pedals seem to be made by ppl in their garages. Other instruments are made by scientists.

idk what this phenomenon is called but i find it really annoying when i’m trying to look up 1980s graphic design and all the search results are like a contemporary vaporwave parody of the 80s instead of actual stuff from the era

One time I was at the studio and Aloe Blacc was in the next studio over. He randomly offered me the chance to remix a song he was working on. I proceeded to make some doo doo garbage and to his credit he actually came in the room and very respectfully said “nah that’s not it”

Here’s a few examples of what I think the 80s look like. Notice how none of them are pink with purple. I think pink with purple as an aesthetic is a purely modern phenomenon. There was neon stuff in the 80s but it wasn’t pink with purple. I will die on this hill
