@MarieRackham @implausibleblog What is being taught and how it is being taught isn't necessarily better in private schools. The big advantage they have is smaller class sizes. Makes it easier to manage classrooms and can give each student more individual attention.

@implausibleblog Yes, but it would have sounded worse if it had come from someone like Rees-Mogg. Our education system is designed to create these ‘class’ issues. If every child had access to high quality education, we would have less of this.

@implausibleblog I work hard but never in a million years would I be able to afford to send my children to private school, VAT or no VAT. I hate the way the term ‘hard working people’ is used to bash people with low incomes.
