@weepatri @Nature We found the chromatin remodeller ATRX maintains colonic gene expression and its loss ‘softens’ colonic identity. This allows squamous and mesenchymal-like cell states to emerge, suggesting loss of colonic lineage fidelity is a key driver of cancer cell plasticity and metastasis.

Delighted to share a recent preprint from the lab! . We find a role for the RNA methyltransferase Nsun2 in controlling stem cell expansion and tumour initiation via MAPK activation. Fantastic work by @aslibastem during her PhD and everyone else involved! .
