I don’t blame the hospital or the staff - they are past breaking point. There were plastic seats in the carpark but I couldn’t hold myself up so I laid on concrete.
There were 20-25 people in carpark plus at least 10 ambulances waiting to be triaged.

My wife and I lost our son Jack to Anencephaly 13 hours after birth. My wife carried both Oliver and Jack full term knowing that we would lose Jack shortly after birth - it’s a journey I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

Has spiked temps up to 39.6 for last 36 hours. Poor bubba is so sick 😢

In her message she said ‘I feel Australia has lost its way’
She wrote with such sadness.
She is right in many ways.
We pride ourselves on ‘we are one but we are many’. Reality is we are so splintered right now.

Spent the afternoon on Torwood Street in Auchenflower. It’s just so distressing the carnage in this area.
The people on this street were hit with flooding this morning in the storm after the original flood receded.
