Can we all just agree that Art, especially "Animation and Level Design" take up about 60% to 70% dev time 😭 . I think there is nothing more important than having a replicable system for building your games . I swear even big guys like Ubisoft have repetitive styles.

In the end, we are all just independent creators trying to succeed in a very harsh market. We post endlessly into the void, hoping to be noticed, sad nights creating something for years, not even sure whether it would be noticed, let alone make profit. Is it just gambling?.

Almost every trailer I see is always fast paced clips of gameplay - it's like their being played at 1.7x to 2x . N when u download the game it's not as fast-paced 😭. but the trailers do look so good when fast-paced 🤩. how does one make a good trailer without overselling?.

QUESTION: Do you post to indie Game Dev Community for "feedback" on your project or "marketing" ? . FOR ME: it is more about technical feedback than marketing. Not to say I do not benefit in terms of reach by posting and being active.
