Genuine reconciliation I suppose can only be easily achieved when all involved are focussed on common objectives & are driven by a motive of Country before self. It looks to me that the elite consensus towards that is not yet realised.

The war in the north as much as the current pol events that could lead to an ugly crisis are rooted in history. You seem not recognise that. It is not diplomacy. It is hard reality which some do not seem to want to face. I face realities in which I participate. I hope you do too.

Dear General Mugisha Muntu, your reflection on our history since 1962 is poignant. The atrocities and mistakes committed by the UPDF in Acholi and greater Northern Uganda must be addressed with more than intellectual diplomacy—they require concrete actions on the ground. As a.

Unfortunately there have been quite a number of ugly scenes in our history since 1962. We perhaps haven't seen the worst yet. I hope we can reach a point where there won't be a repeat of any of what we have gone through as a people. It is as much of my responsibility as yours.

Was it the best option on table to place the people in forced Internally displaced camps , where the entire fabric of the society was messed up for generations even yet to come ?.Do u feel proud about the actions you took as a commander of the @MODVA_UPDF then ???.

Nats; we are set to jointly meet with the NUP leadership to discuss common areas of cooperation. You seem to have missed that from our communication. Now that you know, you may use any other reason to attack NUP but do not use us as your entry point to do so.

Unfortunately Gen Amin regimes' image has been cleaned up by Gen Museveni regimes' actions. For many who were not yet born during Gen Amin's regime they believe that there is no difference. I wonder how the NRM apologists are unable to recognise how NRM regime has degenerated.

@UGLawyer If @mugishamuntu contests for presidency in this term, I will look at him as @norbertmao .He has been contesting since 2012, and to date, he has NO serious leaders around him or groomed by him. Am not saying that he is not able but I feel he has failed to attract capable people.

@mugishamuntu But don't you think the alliance of ANT with NUP would be stronger, it would serve the ultimate goal of change. NUP is where the strongest change lies especially in the central part of the country if ANT takes the west and North we have half way there.

It is not in conflict with the ANT/ PFF MOU. There will be harmonisation between the two parties to get one candidate at every level where they have two to agree on one.

The most painful thing is the breakdown of the spirit of the people. A people reduced to a level where they can sell their fundamental right of choice for UgShs 1000. Such a people have lost their sense of self worth. What is more painful is when it is done to them deliberately.

There are those who do not care much about the rule of law. They happen to still be in charge. Our effort is to remove them and establish the rule of law. Building a critical number of leaders who are driven by the desire to establish it as we fight to remove them is critical.

@mugishamuntu General, with all due respect, I believe the issue isn’t about lacking research, it’s about how we interpret the structure of government itself. If political parties in Uganda are funded through the national budget, and the national budget is managed by the government, then yes,.
