There is possibly nothing I stand for that you do not already know. If it was someone else I would try to convince them. I suppose I would be wasting your time if I attempted to convince you to align with the strategy & tactics I employ.

I get a sense that we cannot come to a common understanding on issues of strategy & tactics. We are better off leaving what works and what doesn't to time. We will re-engage after any of the strategies works. In the meantime can we be at peace & only focus on a common adversary.

Correct statements can be made by govt and its agencies. That has been the case since independence. The problem is always the conflict between what they say & what they do. That is why we have been caught up in a vicious cycle of mindlessness by those who have run governments.

The UPF should not play the role themselves. Their conduct should be consistent with their public statements. There is nothing that beats leadership by example.

One thing I must fully admit, that you have fully succeeded in doing effectively, is to break down the spirit of our people. They have literary been broken into a characterless mass of backbone less men and women. The good news is that since creation, there are always remnants.

Genuine reconciliation I suppose can only be easily achieved when all involved are focussed on common objectives & are driven by a motive of Country before self. It looks to me that the elite consensus towards that is not yet realised.

Our history was largely shaped by the character of our political elite as much as our current political reality is. This is not diplomacy. It is hard reality. Look around you more critically.

The war in the north as much as the current pol events that could lead to an ugly crisis are rooted in history. You seem not recognise that. It is not diplomacy. It is hard reality which some do not seem to want to face. I face realities in which I participate. I hope you do too.

Nats; we are set to jointly meet with the NUP leadership to discuss common areas of cooperation. You seem to have missed that from our communication. Now that you know, you may use any other reason to attack NUP but do not use us as your entry point to do so.

Unfortunately Gen Amin regimes' image has been cleaned up by Gen Museveni regimes' actions. For many who were not yet born during Gen Amin's regime they believe that there is no difference. I wonder how the NRM apologists are unable to recognise how NRM regime has degenerated.

We are moving one step at a time. We have learnt lessons from the past failures. We are not about to apply the same approach.

Parties whose objectives & understanding of how to work together under the most complex political conditions are in alignment, will successfully form alliances. We are dealing with realities not wishes.
