There is possibly nothing I stand for that you do not already know. If it was someone else I would try to convince them. I suppose I would be wasting your time if I attempted to convince you to align with the strategy & tactics I employ.
@mugishamuntu Gen, you are running away from the debate on the extenuation that I must have faith on what is ambiguous and you cannot disambiguate for me. How then can I join you? You want me to follow without asking, like Jesus’ disciples? 🤣😅

I get a sense that we cannot come to a common understanding on issues of strategy & tactics. We are better off leaving what works and what doesn't to time. We will re-engage after any of the strategies works. In the meantime can we be at peace & only focus on a common adversary.
Gen. @mugishamuntu, I believe that your response, since you use ‘I’ in lieu of ‘we’, is about your family and yourself, not on behalf of a public institution(political party) like ANT which you lead and purposed to transform our country. Of course I believe in your ideology and

There is purpose in all I ever do in life. It may not be immediately understood by all but when a number of actions connect together to fulfil the purpose for which they were designed it becomes so self evident that it requires no explanation. At that time you will appreciate it
Gen. @mugishamuntu as a military officer and former army commander, should know better that elections are useless without core electoral reforms. I don’t know why, as intelligent and ideological as he is, and experienced from the past (s)elections, is contesting with a gang of

This afternoon, our National Coordinator Hon. @OfficialAlaso raised concern over the lack of transparency in the electoral process by the @UgandaEC. We are glad to confirm that the required extra signatures for our Presidential candidate were submitted. The journey continues.

"as the NRM 2nd National Vice Chairperson for Buganda, I convened....with RCC's, RDCs, DISOs....," there is Luganda saying that " olwaata nanyinimu nalumanya......" Get treatment before it is too late!!!!!
In my capacity as the NRM 2nd National Vice Chairperson for Buganda Region, I convened a strategic meeting today with the NRM Vice Chairpersons for Central and Kampala, Members of Parliament, flag bearers, RDCs, RCCs, DISOs and District Administrators.

Correct statements can be made by govt and its agencies. That has been the case since independence. The problem is always the conflict between what they say & what they do. That is why we have been caught up in a vicious cycle of mindlessness by those who have run governments.

One thing I must fully admit, that you have fully succeeded in doing effectively, is to break down the spirit of our people. They have literary been broken into a characterless mass of backbone less men and women. The good news is that since creation, there are always remnants.
Congratulations to all the delegates at the NRM Delegates Conference for its success. I also want to express my gratitude for enduring sleepless nights to ensure that all party processes were conducted successfully. I am happy about our large membership, which stands at 20

The absurdity of cries from those manipulated, cheated & openly rigged out of the NRM electoral process is that they still rally behind the architect of the mess that NRM has become. "A fish rots from the head" an African proverb. " foolish Galatians who bewitched you" Gal 3:1

Genuine reconciliation I suppose can only be easily achieved when all involved are focussed on common objectives & are driven by a motive of Country before self. It looks to me that the elite consensus towards that is not yet realised.

Our history was largely shaped by the character of our political elite as much as our current political reality is. This is not diplomacy. It is hard reality. Look around you more critically.
@mugishamuntu This is purely Intentional INTELLECTUAL DIPLOMACY play on your end 🤔

The war in the north as much as the current pol events that could lead to an ugly crisis are rooted in history. You seem not recognise that. It is not diplomacy. It is hard reality which some do not seem to want to face. I face realities in which I participate. I hope you do too.
Dear General Mugisha Muntu, your reflection on our history since 1962 is poignant. The atrocities and mistakes committed by the UPDF in Acholi and greater Northern Uganda must be addressed with more than intellectual diplomacy—they require concrete actions on the ground. As a

Unfortunately there have been quite a number of ugly scenes in our history since 1962. We perhaps haven't seen the worst yet. I hope we can reach a point where there won't be a repeat of any of what we have gone through as a people. It is as much of my responsibility as yours.
Was it the best option on table to place the people in forced Internally displaced camps , where the entire fabric of the society was messed up for generations even yet to come ? Do u feel proud about the actions you took as a commander of the @MODVA_UPDF then ???

That is an established fact. I do not think anybody in UPDF or government has ever denied that.
@mugishamuntu Gen, is it time to remind Ugandans that you put people of Northern Uganda in IDP camps when you were army commander.

Nats; we are set to jointly meet with the NUP leadership to discuss common areas of cooperation. You seem to have missed that from our communication. Now that you know, you may use any other reason to attack NUP but do not use us as your entry point to do so.
General @mugishamuntu, are you saying that parties like NUP have confusing objectives when it comes to working with others? 😂 Meaning they might be pushing their own hidden agenda? But you might have a point, look at people like @DavidLRubongoya and @Nupfinest. Instead of

Unfortunately Gen Amin regimes' image has been cleaned up by Gen Museveni regimes' actions. For many who were not yet born during Gen Amin's regime they believe that there is no difference. I wonder how the NRM apologists are unable to recognise how NRM regime has degenerated.

His father died of the struggle against the Amin period you praise. I hereby ask Gen @mugishamuntu to help you.

Correction. I competed for the National President only in 2021. You may need to recheck your sources of information.
@UGLawyer If @mugishamuntu contests for presidency in this term, I will look at him as @norbertmao He has been contesting since 2012, and to date, he has NO serious leaders around him or groomed by him. Am not saying that he is not able but I feel he has failed to attract capable people

We are moving one step at a time. We have learnt lessons from the past failures. We are not about to apply the same approach.
@mugishamuntu What are the realities preventing you for fast tracking this alliance. Alliance with all parties, and you front one leader?

Parties whose objectives & understanding of how to work together under the most complex political conditions are in alignment, will successfully form alliances. We are dealing with realities not wishes.
@mugishamuntu General our concern remains un answered why can't we organize for a strong alliance , we sit in the boderom and second one person for president. That is we the DF, ANT, PFF, DP, Common man's party, and others
