The state of New York can’t turn bloggers into Big Brother, but it’s trying to do just that. That’s why FIRE is suing. https://t.co/Ik0xn3XUer

People who are accustomed to using the state to impose their will on others can hardly imagine there are people who have preferences they would not forcibly compel everyone to adopt.

To achieve justice without losing compassion, what’s important is to avoid doing harm. Helping sentient beings can be a source of great satisfaction. All of us, animals as well, have basic rights that we need to protect.

On our phone call, @SBF_FTX said his lawyer “chewed him the fuck out” for his apologetic tweets & told him to “promise that you never ever say you fucked up again”. Sam allegedly told his lawyer to “go fuck himself”. (SBF phone call 11/16)

1) I'm sorry. That's the biggest thing. I fucked up, and should have done better.

Switched from BofA to @WellsFargo to get a better rate on my mortgage, but good lord are they terrible. Their home lending arm is amazing, but their consumer banking is insanely restrictive. $330 ATM limit that can’t be raised? No wire transfers? And now THIS? I am *so* gone.
