The sport was over as we currently know it when 14-0 FSU was left out & back to back champ #1 Georgia dropped 5 spots after a 3 point loss in the SECCG, their first loss in 30 games.
@jontweetssports @CFBPlayoff If Alabama doesn’t make it, the sport is over as it currently exists. The SEC would be better off to secede from CFP and have their own 12 team conference tournament and keep 100% of the revenues instead. That is going to be the future of the sport depending on how today goes

8-4 Iowa previously unranked at 23 gives USC, Indiana & Oregon a 2nd ranked win. Iowa’s 4th loss was to unranked Iowa State. 8-4 @MizzouFootball and Vols only losses are to top 15 teams. But needs to be Iowa, props up B10 and ND, & @VandyFootball would have same # ranked wins.
Iowa only ranked 4 loss team…and @Vol_Football unranked? Vols lost to 4 teams in top 15. That #23 spot doing some very “important” work for Big10 teams.
