I brought this from Majdanak earlier in the week and it is fascinating. Jadwiga was a young Polish girl who snuggled a notebook into the camp and documented her experiences. It's a pretty short read but it's packed with info.

I honestly find the lack of consistency each year on what is expected on each question mind blowing.
Experiences of exam marking this year continue to be beyond awful. Middle and senior leaders will need to brace themselves for a record number of reviews of marking, because the standard is going to be shocking

I'm teaching OCR A Level RE next year, give me a follow fellow RE folks. I'm scared but excited (the latter largely because I just brought a tonne of books on ethics and oh boy I love books).

Had a dream last night that I had to retake my GCSE history and I couldn't even answer the first question. I think I might have spent too long last night marking GCSE questions ๐ฌ.

As a teacher that is dyslexic and wasn't diagnosed until 18, I am also sometimes defensive, we are doing our best. But the government needs to help us do more, it's not enough.
Seen some defensiveness from teachers about #JamieDyslexia. Just started it. I get that we often feel under attack but think we have lots to learn from othersโ authentic experiences of school and should be open to challenge. Hope the systemic issues will also be acknowledged.
