I am so excited to announce I am officially joining the Troy School District!! I will be teaching at Troy and Athens High Schools. I am looking forward to this school year and being apart of the
#OneTroy
team! 👩🏼🏫🍎
I SURVIVED MY FIRST YEAR OF TEACHING!!! It was amazing and challenging and I hope to never be teaching from Zoom again. I hope everyone enjoys their well deserved summer break!
Students have been a little quiet on zoom so I asked a random Q. “Do you prefer a slice of pizza in the shape of a triangle or square?”
I have never seen students unmute themselves faster to talk to each other about a topic. It was awesome to sit back and watch
Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands.
I managed to walk a half marathon today. I don’t know how or why but I’m pumped that I did it! I’d be lying if I said this isn’t the most exciting thing I’ve done all quarantine
1,000 days ago,
@Ms_Race_
and I were in our
@michiganstateu
student teaching classes talking about the dream of working in the same school together. Today, we’re doing just that and hit our 1,000 day snap streak! ♥️
2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment! Thank you suffragists for fighting for my right to vote!

A big thank you to
@Mr_Schoonover

It is with great sadness that we have lost a member of the Stoney Creek Girls Soccer family. Emily Solek passed away Friday morning. She was a senior at the University of Michigan.
Very excited about the new way I’m tracking interactions with students each week. It’s hard to keep it all straight virtually and this has been a game changer!
#virtuallearning
Zoom can never replace face-to-face interactions HOWEVER it’s so amazing we have technology that allows us to still see and communicate with each other while we

It was a fun night watching
@troyathenshoops
play in the O’rena against Oxford. (Not pictured: the student section who did a great job cheering on the team!)
Good luck to all students and their upcoming AP Exams! You’ve worked hard and have done an inspiring job preparing for your exams under these circumstances. I’m thinking about you and how amazing you are!!
