On break duty today, a student sought me out and said “read this poem, Sir” and handed me a book. I was shocked when she proudly claimed “she wrote that” pointing at her friend. I looked around and there must have been a dozen copies around the canteen. I was honestly impressed!
In October a number of our students entered a Young Writers Halloween Poetry Competition. Three of them have achieved great success & have had their entries published in a book of Halloween Poetry “ Trick or Treat”. Congratulations Manigbe, Olivia & Summaya!

Not the result we wanted but proud of everything the team have achieved this year. If you’d have said we’d reach the semi before the season I’d have laughed! Incredibly humbled by the support shown by the #NewmanFamily. Truly appreciated!
