This is our time to shine. We're facing an unprecedented #continuityoflearning challenge, but #educators will keep educating. What does #remotelearning look like? Our goal is to keep communities safe, keep kids learning, and be there for our students. #WeCanDoThis

THIS! Don't try to squeeze everything in. Pick what couple of things you think are really important. DEFINITELY do not focus on grading. Be present. Be flexible. #remotelearning

@nupurssethi @burgessdave @TaraMartinEDU @JenWilliamsEdu @jcorippo @Joe_Sanfelippo @Ronbrogers @kathleen_morris @zoom_us @fel_ski @courosa Brilliant!!! Creating an online a la carte menu for students to choose their own learning and learn from others is mostly likely how the future of education will look. I am in! Let's empower our young scholars! #MERIT19 #KCICIO19 #WeAreCUE @LBCSmrV

TEACHERS:1000’s of you work in schools that have been canceled in the upcoming weeks. Make it UR goal to either call every kid & say hi or write them a letter, telling them what you appreciate about them, recognize the strengths they bring to your classroom! #Significant72

Still not sure what this Emergency Distance Learning is going to look like, but I wanted to create a sense of structure for my students to maintain some sort of routine but also provide opportunities to connect. Planning to add to this document each week.

Tips for #remotelearning : Realize that child care may be a challenge for parents. Some parents will be able to help their children complete all their assignments and activities, while some students will not be as productive.

Tips for #remotelearning : Encourage students to play around the house and outside (and not to stare at too many screens). Try to find a balance of assignments: some that can be completed online and others that can be done offline and turned in to you later.
