Yesterday I saw #OneBattleAfterAnother for the third time (second time on IMAX). This is what the theatre looked like before the screening. Five fire engines later, and thankfully no cancellation. One Broken Pipe After Another? ¡Viva la revolución!

is it just me or was One Battle After Another one of the shortest 2hr 45m movies ever made?

Small detail I like in OBAA that goes unremarked upon: when Bob gets out of the tunnel and grabs his emergency bag he spends the rest of the film dragging around, it has a little pink backpack strapped to it bc he clearly hasn’t updated his and Willa’s gear since she was a baby.

Big anniversary today: 63 years since Friday 5th Oct ‘62, when two huge pop icons began their life. #TheBeatles released their first single, #LoveMeDo, and the first #JamesBond film, Dr. No, was released. What a day for popular culture! P.S. I love you P.P.S. I’m on NZ time

Back at the glorious Hollywood Avondale for a long overdue screening of Kevin Smith’s Dogma (1999). That last time I saw this was in…1999 - at the cinema! 🍿 #NowWatching Dogma 🙏
