This is a cool bundle. I cherry-picked the apps I wanted, and went for App Tamer and CleanShot X. Check it out and see if some of these apps might be useful to you. https://t.co/bduAuic2gu

I’m incredibly grateful for this. I can’t stress enough the overall amazing condition this MacBook Pro is in. It was really taken care of by its owner. When I saw the battery only had 283 cycles, I thought it had been replaced, but coconutbattery shows it’s the original one.

The 2009 models had a quirky capacitor on the motherboard that could go haywire and the Mac wouldn’t boot. The 2011 models were notorious for a graphics card defect that would make it eventually fail.

And they were right. I *did* look for this Mac for a long while, but the prices on the used market were absurd. Furthermore, the 2010 model is kind of the holy grail of this specific MacBook Pro line, because it was the most reliable.

I was getting madly curious! Imagine my surprise when I opened the package, and found this — a Mid-2010 17-inch MacBook Pro! - With antiglare display! - With 8GB of RAM and 480GB SSD! - With a battery still in good health!

Today I received an unexpected birthday gift that absolutely made my day. A few days ago, a good soul I ‘met’ through social media and who’s been following me for a while, told me he would send me “Something I knew you have been looking for in the past”. Nothing else.
