Among patients with severe DMR with class 1 indication for mitral operation, women:. Presented with worse clinical state,.Lower % underwent multiD eval and operation.Longer interval to operation/intervention. Many theories but unclear exactly why. Great lead by @WaldronCJ.

Going through this first JACC issue under @hmkyale’s new team and wow, this review by Dr. Packer!! .Last section has 5 great points. ‘Do not be in a rush to publish. It is nice to publish before you die, but it is not really necessary. Rely on others to tell your story’.
