If you love plants and water, you’re in for a treat on this Valentine's day! My #PhD paper with @Water_Rox is out in @GlobalChangeBio! We looked at global trends and drivers of submerged #macrophyte quantities in lakes. @GRIL_Limnologie @NSERC_CRSNG .

What do we know about change in the seasonal timing of #macrophytes and #periphyton? . Not much, but they do respond to temperature and there might be consequence on ecosystem functioning. More long-term monitoring is needed!. Just out in #ASLO_Letters.
