One 16-year-old said he watched, "on more than one occasion, as a staffer offered a bounty of a cheesesteak to a teen to beat up a peer who had been disrespectful. He and other youth said this was known as ‘putting a cheesesteak on a kid’s head.’" https://t.co/ny69npAGOu

My dad @Larry_Eichel left the @PhillyInquirer in 2008. He wrote the first draft of Jimmy Carter’s obit when I was 4. I’m now 39 and have been at the Inquirer for 14 years. Tomorrow will be his first A1 story in 16 years.

If you want to jump off the pollercoaster and hear directly from Pennsylvanians: “Beneath their words lies real unease, for the country, for themselves, their families, and the kind of future their hugely influential votes will launch.” https://t.co/5pNqlapZ99

Sometime after polls close Tuesday, the direction the country goes in becomes clearer - as do the fears and hopes for millions of voters in a deeply divided Pennsylvania.

I’ve been going to Avalon for most of my life, when it was all giant McMansions, and I’ve always wanted to know who owns the Monstrosity. @MichaelleBond tells a lovely tale about a family trying to preserve something that doesn’t exist anymore

Up and down the Jersey Shore, buyers have been knocking down old, smaller homes and building McMansions. The owners of this historical Avalon home hope to find a buyer who won't demolish it.

Some personal news: I’m taking on a new beat @PhillyInquirer. Today is my last day on the health desk. Starting Monday, I’ll be the Inky’s civil courts reporter. My time on health has been the best j-school I could have asked for. But I’m PUMPED for the new challenge. 1/2

Yesterday, I wrapped up my internship at the @PhillyInquirer on the now desk. I’m so happy that I got to cover so many topics like political rallies, windows falling from high-rise luxury apartments, and an emu that was on the loose in Bucks County!
