I’m not sure who still needs to hear this but… Low Rep Sets create LESS fatigue and soreness than High Rep sets. By doing “Light Weight High Reps” in-season, you get weaker and more fatigued athletes.

Explain to me how a HS softball “weight training” program consisting of the team doing wall sits and running laps around a track will benefit this team? If the goal is fatigue-ok. But did you help them become stronger, explosive or resilient to injury?
