This is a great series and extremely satisfying. I highly recommend it.

Speaking of LitRPG, I'm running a 10% off sale on my Haley and Nana cozy litrpg bundle. Where I lean in, very extremely, to things that litrpg often doesn't do: being deist, having a defined ending with a noticeable character arc, being appropriate for you and your family, and.

I watched the movie Space Camp (from 1986) today with my daughter. Long, uninteresting story about why, but it was both better and worse than I remembered. I loved it as a teen because it was the perfect wish fulfilment for me--I desperately wanted to go to Space Camp, and being

My daughter starts university here in India this week. She's studying Marine Science, which is her lifelong passion. I'm excited for her, but I had no idea they pronounce "Marine" to rhyme with "fine.".

I have the hardest time getting myself to the gym for my new workout group. I like it when I get there, I enjoy the exercise, but my whole body screams against me getting dressed and walking over there. I would really like to know where I developed this aversion.

I pre-ordered a signed book from a brick and mortar store. Paid for it. And I just got an email apologizing about how they'd sold out at the in-store signing and couldn't send my copy because they'd sold it. So you consider this normal, unethical, or just bad business?.

106,200 words (I round to the nearest hundred because life is too short) and I got to the first of many zinger chapter endings between here and the end of the book. Not cliffhangers, just--BAM. I like giving readers more oomph to go on reading.

I forgot to check my word count before shutting down today, but it's more than 105k. Mostly today was about making sure I hit the right emotional beats for this dungeon level. I ended up really energized for tomorrow! . (I'm in India. Tomorrow is very close now.).

Okay, I was wrong, it was almost 126,000. So THAT is my goal.

My daughter and I are listening to the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, and there's a bonus to the audiobooks that is a kind of commercial or extra material. The one for book three had us both howling with laughter. Seriously, treat yourself to these audiobooks. (Unless you don't.

100,800 give or take a few words. Now I have to figure out how to make this dungeon level bigger. The longest book in this series so far was over 125,000. (Small potatoes compared to most LitRPG.) So there's my next writing goal.

I'm creeping up on 100k words in the final book in my Warmaster LitRPG series. I plan to cruise right past that mark. The others have been short for this genre, and I want this last book to have everything my readers have been dying to learn.

Well, look at this! I had to set the preorder for my next book so Audible would deign to put it in the pipeline. They still haven't got book 6 in their catalog. Anyway, this is book 7 of Warmaster:

Today I'm thinking about a show I didn't like. I watched about 6 episodes and it never appealed to me. I had friends who all said "no, it gets better, season 2 is great!". What's the limit, here? How much should a person have to sit through/ read to get to "the good parts"? I'm.

I had SO much fun writing this story. "What if urban fantasy, but funny? Just. stupid college guy capers. Good natured but wacky." Pick it up if you're tired of Super Serious stuff.

When I was in 5th grade, I played Prince John in a musical play based on the movie, thanks to teachers who thought I was too dramatic to play Maid Marian. I will forever love Disney's version of Robin Hood. (Sir Hiss was a hand puppet.).

Rewatched Disney's Robin Hood for the first time in ages over the weekend, and some random thoughts:. - deeply amusing that Robin Hood wasn't actually robbing from the rich: evil lion Prince John was taxing people literally to the point of penury, and Robin Hood was stealing
