There’s a cursed C++ competition where programmers try to create the largest possible error message. Finalists created ~1.5GB of error messages from just 256 bytes of source. Preprocessor exploits were so easy, they had to create a separate division! Here's my favorites:

Now that #ROS 1 is winding down we're kicking off ROS 3 planning at today's PMC meeting. The consensus seems to be we're replacing C++ with Rust, Ament and Cmake with Bazel, and making Mac and Arch Tier 1 platforms. All the current ROS 2 users will pay for the development.
