I'd perhaps reframe "peptides do not have anti-aging effects" to there's no evidence that the peptides being prescribed off-label have anti-aging effects. Some might, and GLP-1 agonists probably do, at least in people who are overweight or have metabolic disease. I would agree.
@mkaeberlein @propublica Peptides do not have anti-aging effects. Common peptide injections and allergic risks: 1. Thymosin injection has been clearly reported to cause allergic reactions and anaphylactic shock, which can be fatal in severe cases.
