Given the limitations of clinical trials, we sought to supplement current understanding of the optimal maintenance treatments for #bipolar disorder using āreal-worldā data. Of note, we found tentative evidence supporting #lamotrigine as the favoured medication for bipolar II.

Study findings suggest that depression in childhood between 2004 and 2019 was uncommon and did not increase over time, but the lack of data beyond the #COVID19 pandemic is yet to be accounted for.
