Today, my fifth graders taught me something new!! I had never worked with these robots before and was in awe of how well they could program and code them. By far one of the coolest things I’ve seen and I loved seeing how interested they were #stem #fifthgrade @TCSBoardofEd

Last week, my fourth grade students learned about erosion and floods and how human-made structures are used to help prevent natural disasters! Then, they had the opportunity to design and build their own dams based on what they learned! They were in awe of our class dam! #amsti

Train your parents. Talk to your parents. Panelist Rachel Hill to a parent: "Grades are for learning. They reflect learning. I'm not going to stop another child from learning just because your child learned it first." #ACGAL

Recording a judgement symbol, i.e. a percent, rubric number, or letter grade, on student work is a clear message to the student: LEARNING IS DONE #ACGAL

Thank you @UA_Educator for giving us the opportunity to attend #ACGAL ! Like sponges, we are absorbing everything @RickWormeli says. Such good information to apply in our future classrooms. @miss_mlong

Popcorn pops at different times when it is ready. It is important to recognize that students also “pop” at different times in every content area! #acgal
