We're always so careful about how we phrase gun control. The right is so rabid about the topic that we have to tiptoe around the whole thing and little of substance ever gets done. It's honestly pretty maddening.

I don't have a ton of interest in dystopian scifi. Why would I? We currently live in a dystopia. Of course the future is going to be dystopian, nothing's going to change.

I started reading this book that was effectively Stardew Valley the book. I quit reading it fairly quickly because it really was just straight up ripping off Stardew Valley at every turn. I don't mind people taking concepts and making them their own but barely changing anything?

I think the best argument for unions is that companies don't want them. We all know that most companies only care about their bottom line. If unions weren't helpful in improving pay, benefits, and conditions, companies wouldn't fight them tooth and nail. Simple as that, honestly.

I've read all of the books and I don't believe anyone has ever told him. This may seem like a small detail but it feels like something that just needs a payoff. The fact that people always seem shaken when it happens just makes me so curious what they see.

So, one of my all time favorite authors is Jim Butcher, with Harry Dresden being one of my all time favorite series. To anyone else who are also fans, who agrees with me that I would absolutely love to find out what Harry looks like to people when they do the whole eye thing.

I'm curious, who knows of Shadowrun? I'm very interested in creating something along those lines, a mix of cyberpunk and fantasy. Any other fans of Shadowrun or anything along those lines?

FML right now, lol. About two weeks ago I spent something like a week hobbling around because my back went out. Last week, I had a rash show up that turned out to be shingles. It's improved a little but hasn't gone away yet. My body is trying to kill me!
