Hear me out, a slider for Liquid Glass is better than only 2 extreme options, do you agree ?!

This is probably what it would look like if Apple added an "Off" option to the Liquid Glass customization screen.

@minimalnerd1 Looking at the state of Liquid glass, a slider would most likely introduce a crap ton of bugs.

@minimalnerd1 I totally agree. However , at this stage it appears @Apple doesn’t. You repost this almost daily & Apple still hasn’t listened.

@minimalnerd1 This would work, but I’d also want the addition of an “off”button, that’s completely disabled Liquid Glass. I’d rather have the battery life back, than refractions.

@minimalnerd1 do y’all even consider how hard it would be to implement without breaking half of the UI elements.. I’m just glad people making these concepts ain’t working for Apple cause 26 is broken enough

@minimalnerd1 I want apple to improve Liquid Glass and thankfully it's happening with updates. If we get sliders/toggles for every little thing, a lot of people would waste time trying to figure out the best possible settings which is IMHO not something end-users need to waste time on.

@minimalnerd1 I think it would be cool to have a choice, but ultimately that’s going to leave app developers to just do “whatever” and eventually iOS will look just as chaotic as android.

@minimalnerd1 Apple will keep experimenting until they find out the perfect blend and finalising on that one.

@minimalnerd1 LiquidGlass turns iPhones into electronic waste. I sold my iPhone 17 Pro and switched to Android after almost 10 years of iOS. Not everything is better, but it's definitely far better than iOS 26.
