Well, this game has confirmed my love for the Destiny franchise/universe still exists, but has made it even harder to justify going back to D2. NetEase listens and actually addresses community concerns as they unfold. Bungie listens and maybe they’ll get to it eventually.

Edge of Fate campaign was really good, actually had me wanting to continue exploring the new region and unlock every secret. Realizing I had to do years old content to level up further broke me. Unless they actually fix this system, I’m only ever returning for narrative updates.

After over a decade dedicated to this game, I’ve already decided it was time to step back before solstice even rolled around. I logged in for solstice, got 3 minutes into an activity before logging out. The grind isn’t fun, there’s no challenge, rng loot isn’t worth my time.
