“On @WooCommerce to join the official app store the fee was first 60%, then 30%. (Shopify is 15%). At one point they also demanded custom features that had to be kept exclusive for Woo. We obviously refused so we never got meaningful growth.”. Ouch. Not a good look Woo.
Sucks to see all those merchants hurting from our decision to leave non-Shopify platforms. On Woo someone even created a @Change petition. Some context for those merchants: Unfortunately the platform side of providing you our app is way too taxing. Examples:. On @WooCommerce
