I’m 62, paid taxes all my working life but can’t get my old age pension until I’m 67 and only benefit is free prescriptions. Yet champagne socialist @GaryLineker thinks we’re cruel to migrants despite giving them free accommodation and a raft of benefits. Astonishing.

What have we done? I’ll tell you what. We’ve inflicted self harm on an industrial scale. Unions running riot, pensioners denied winter fuel allowance, migration out of control and expect taxes to rise in October. Hang your head in shame if you voted for Labour, you were warned!

My 82yo dad, who served his country and worked all his life has to pay £180pm for gas & electricity. He won’t put the heating on. Just sits with a blanket over his lap to keep warm. Yet we spend millions on housing migrants in hotels. It’s just morally indefensible.

My dog got a grass seed stuck in his paw which developed into a blood blister. Vet wanted to take him in overnight and operate on his paw at a cost of £750. So instead, I applied Sudocrem to the wound and within the hour it was all sorted. How do vets sleep at night?.

We need a reset on the trans issue. It should be set in law that no bloke can identify as a trans woman unless they’ve had their meat and two veg removed. Otherwise they should just be treated as a man in a frock and ordered to stay out of women’s safe spaces.

So, climate zealots will have you believe that the earth is heating up at an alarming rate. Well, here we are and despite it being almost May, it’s still really cold on the south coast and has been for months and we’ve still got the heating on. It’s all a hoax!.

Anyone else brought up in the 70’s remember only being allowed one bath a week, usually on a Sunday evening in about 3 inches of luke warm water and having to share it with your siblings?. And dinner generally consisting of something on toast. Those were the days!.

I’m scheduled to have a colonoscopy tomorrow. I’ve got to starve for 24 hours and take 3 sachets of turbo lax. I’ve just had the first one. Things could get messy. Wish me luck!.

So the Met Police dress code forbids officers from wearing a badge displaying the thin blue line because it might upset the LGBT+ community. But an officer can wear a rainbow coloured helmet. So much for serving without fear or favour then.

I’m asthmatic and have a severe chest infection, so I tried calling my GP surgery this morning. On each occasion, I had to go through the 3 min preamble before selecting option 1. But every time for well over an hour I just got an engaged tone. I give up. It’s disgraceful.
