We are about to have our second teen driver - we make them pay their insurance. Could we pay it for them? Yep. Make your kids participate.
Car Insurance for my teenage kids’ cars is insanely out of control. Even with multi policy discounts. One teen - $320/month. Second teen - $298/month. Third teen - about to start driving. Everyone who thinks their toddlers are expensive. Buckle up & enjoy those diaper years.

this was my favorite talk of the entire AI World Fair. @aiDotEngineer.
"everything that makes agents good is context engineering" . excited to release @dexhorthy's talk at @aiDotEngineer, coiner of Context Engineering which has captured the zeitgeist of some of the most important problems in AI Engineering today!

correct take. anything else masks the utility of the token stream. it's electricity - you pay for electricity. ez.
agentic coding pricing is unsustainable at a flat $/message structure. a power user in a session will burn about $10+/hour in tokens. so flat per-message pricing starts off egregious and then margins go negative as the context window fills up during convo bc of increasing input.

this is the way.
Genuine take: normalize fractional IC roles. I could handily PM 5 products and would probably be made better by exposure to diverse problems & cultures. How much of anyone’s 40 hours is performative nonsense? With AI I think we’re going to see the rise of gig economy knowledge.

I've written more lines of code in the last 6 months then in my entire 25 year career. These CEO's don't understand Jevon's Paradox.
If it does, those white collar workers will default on mortgages & consumer loans. Were that to happen, banks would face a crisis; luckily, they have USTs (HQLA) to sell against credit losses. Would the Fed allow bank UST sales to cause UST dysfunction again, or “BTFP” like 1q23?

Wait - Soham is a real guy! This is getting so good. 🍿🍿🍿.
There’s a lot being said about me right now, and most of you don’t know the full story. If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I love to build. That’s it. I’ve been isolated, written off, and shut out by nearly everyone I’ve known and every company I’ve worked at.
