Wooster has signed a two year agreement to play Massillon. Generals will host the Tigers in Week 9 this coming year and Wooster will play at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in 2021.

BREAKING...Sly Slaughter is stepping down as Boys Basketball Coach at Orrville HS. Slaughter was head coach for 11 years at his alma mater including a State Runner Up trophy in 2010.

yesterday morning when the American Legion called and said this guy didn't have anyone. Wow. Amazing.
When the community heard that a serviceman without a family was to be laid to rest, thousands of community members, veterans, and military service men/women came to pay respects to veteran William Louis Wright this morning at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.

Mike Bohley will return as Head Football Coach at Chippewa. Bohley stepped down in January after six seasons but Chippewa has smartly convinced him to return. Chippewa does have long overdue upgrades coming including new locker rooms and field turf planned for Chippewa Stadium.

Use to be "special" in getting into the playoffs. I liked that football was different in that way. Admitting I'm old school, it meant more. Also in other sports, you don't get physically beat up when you lose like football. That will happen a lot more now.
