Becoming increasingly annoyed by @intellijidea . Regularly have to restart and clear caches because its showing compile errors (Go) that simply aren't there, removes imports that are needed, . But yesterday had to completely remove a .idea project folder because it was stuck?.

Pro tip: if you're using OpenTelemetry with Golang, don't use log.Fatal(). Because most loggers call os.Exit() and that won't trigger deferred statements and thus likely no flushing of OTel data happens.
