About to head in for a Kasabian concert. I don't deny that if "Fire" hadn't been the matchday intro for the Premier League from 2010-2013, I almost certainly wouldn't be going to this gig.

The feeling you get when you get a pub to put on a sport that they haven't thought of putting on, and a crowd of people end up watching it is hard to beat. This didn't happen after I got them to put on Super Rugby.

Something I just can't get over is the frustration at the use of "sports" instead of "sport". Sport can be a plural on its own!.

So, so glad I got stuck at work and wasn't able to get to the game #nrlbulldogsdragons.

Seeing a 2-point field goal in the flesh has already made it worth it.

SUB-OPTIMAL: bus to Sutherland to get the train to the 'Gong delayed, resulting in the train being missed. Next train would mean missing kick-off: I'm on a bus back home now, going to drive instead. Dragons better make this hullabaloo worth it.

A great moment in the #NRLTigersDragons game was the split decision between the touch judges over Koroisau's first attempt at goal. Don't know if i've ever seen that before.

On a day like this, and probably only on a day like this, WIN Stadium enters the conversation about the best game day experience: beach into beers with ocean views into footy with ocean views. Brilliant! #nrl.

Ended up just getting bronze to the Waratahs for $89 (adult). Bronze had been sold out for the Wallabies so the minimum ticket was going to be something like $279. Rugby Australia absolutely looking to cash in on the event, not even trying to be a game for everyone to go to.

12 years ago I bought concession tickets, as a student, to the Wallabies and Waratahs games against the Lions. The Wallabies (bronze ) tickets cost $62 and the Waratahs (Silver) tickets $20. The equivalent concession tickets now cost $149 and $109 #Rugby #Lions.

Assumed fact that the Dragons performance tonight will lessen next week's home crowd by at least a 1/3 of what would have showed up if they were heading to Kogarah undefeated, or at least coming off a narrow loss #nrl.

Coates' try is incredible. Might be the best finish I've seen: he didn't touch the corner post and launched from so far out. How good is rugby league?! #NRL.

Just got the news that I won't be the Starter at the swimming carnival this year. Devastated with the demotion, but I'll give my all to marshalling.

I didn't think I'd be ticking off getting a Railbus to a Kogarah game so early in the year. Does not bode well for the coming season #nrl.

My trip came to an end a few days ago, happy with everything I did and everywhere I went. I'm glad I didn't rush the Great Ocean Rd - how people do it in a day astounds me. Seeing red dirt in NSW also a weird highlight for me. Thinking North-West NSW will be my next roadtrip.

I'm all about anything that's declared the largest/longest/whatever in the "Southern Hemisphere". I crossed the Hay Plains today, apparently the "flattest" place in the Southern Hemisphere!.

NSW is now home to the longest escalators in the southern hemisphere.
