Were you aware the City of Vancouver has issued a Draft Official Development Plan for public review and comment? Nor was I until a CTV journalist contacted me yesterday morning. You can find details here: https://t.co/dbpae7fWya

I was recently invited to join @JasJohalBC to discuss the loss of 20,000 development/construction industry jobs in Metro due to reduced sales and construction starts. While Jas's questions are better than my answers, you can watch it here.

While I am the first to agree we need to build more housing to bring down rents, we also need to make better use of the housing we already have. What do I mean? Read on, from October 7, 2019. https://t.co/TPzMV5aMAo

I have two independent reasons to believe Antichrist Trump's peace treaty will be signed on Feb. 26, 2026: 1. Trump was declared "Prince of Peace" on Feb. 26, 2024. 2. Feb. 26, 2026 is 2,520 days (7x360) before Jan. 20, 2033, the end of an illegal 3rd term for Trump. (Dan. 9:27)

Why does GBM matter 🤔 Auctions should reward everyone involved. GBM makes this possible by ensuring that value creation benefits participants and not just platforms.

There's a growing seniors housing crisis in BC. Here are some suggestions on what we must do to address it. https://t.co/uP3n3SQdFb

According to @CMHC_ca "Rental apartment construction (in Vancouver) continued to make up a growing share of starts. This trend has been fuelled by the reduced appeal of condominium apartment development. This lower appeal is attributable to high costs and sale prices and the

If this sort of thing continues, I won't be watching many more Blue Jays games. What an awful evening!
John Schneider going to the bullpen early when Bieber was cruising, and the bullpen immediately and aggressively shitting the bed, is the most predictable outcome ever. #BlueJays #LightsUpLetsGo

What the @VancouverSun story omits is last summer I told Dracco Pacific realtor Joseph Liang this property had absolutely no development potential, but he continued to falsely tell potential buyers it had "lots of redevelopment potentials".
#VanRE @DavidCarrigg Vancouver realtor wants $2 million for False Creek lot that's valued at $1,500. @michaelgeller said, the Starboard Square lot is set aside for public space & cannot be developed. Liang & his managing broker Layla Yang did not comment.

Listening to an 'Abundant Housing' spokesperson talking to Robin Gill on @CKNW regarding provincial housing targets announced yesterday and city proposal to build market rental housing on city owned land. He's right about the latter. The city proposal is a lost opportunity.

@VancouverSun If you are on Facebook, you'll want to read the DTES community's response to Sam Sullivan's article. The fact is, it's time to create a broader socio-economic mix in the community before it totally destructs. It's almost there.

I can't remember whether Gregor Robertson was hoping housing prices would go up or down, but this article by respected economist Roz Kunin addresses the pros and cons of lower prices!

A massive report is going to City Council recommending pre-zoning Broadway & Cambie corridors. What impact will this have on property values? Don't ask BC Assessment deputy assessor. He didn't even know a report was going forward to council today. @jwhiteyvr
