Blessed that 37/41 years of being a doc has been @CooperHealthNJ and @CooperEMed. Thanks to both and @HopeKilgannonMD spent a few hours at the Kroc in Camden vaccinating our wonderful patients. Pt’s were SO appreciative and kind. So fun. Thanks to everyone who made this happen!.

My 93+ year old Mom day 8 of Covid lives alone & has an ambulatory pulse ox of 96-98%! She is a bit hoarse and has a dry cough. Only on a baby ASA. So much to learn why some seem to sail through and some don’t. Vaccine allowed me to safely visit!

So proud Dr. Emily Damuth, EM/CC deservedly received the Dr. Diane Barton compassionate care award. Diane was so special: a dear friend who lost her battle with ovarian cancer in ‘05. Dr. Viner initiated this award, & read the plaque to Diane (1st recipient) hrs before she passed

Working June 30th day shift with Charlie, 1 day from PGY-2, Karen and Jayne: 1 day from PGY-3 and Jared, 1 day from being faculty. My planned activity 7 am to 4 pm.

Had my 3 Applebrooke friends out yesterday for first look at “new” RG. Had a great walk! Realized the expansive views especially of our clubhouse are very Shinnecock like! Was windy and firm as Flynn intended. Just Perfect!.

Was so great being back in our ED today! Thanks to the best faculty and residents in all of EM for protecting the “old man” and checking in on me all day. I’m back baby!
