Being a first generation farmer has it perks. Also some down falls. Today my dad (70) who drives combine for me but has never farmed, and my son (9.5) drove grain cart next to his grandpa. Pretty cool moment and proud of both of them.

My last districts as a coach. It was fun to punch some tickets in the events I coach again! A boys district runner up was a great way to end the day. I’m gonna enjoy the last week and the state champions next weekend in Omaha. It’s been a fun 11 years but time to retire.
