Excited to share the first paper of my PhD! We took a deep dive into what the deposits of rivers look like when there are no plants around (think early Earth and Mars) and found some very cool things. Work done with @mcolinmarvin @_algunn @marslogander through @stanforddoerr.
ID'ing depositional elements in the stratigraphic record for recognition of ancient unvegetated meandering rivers and improve palaeohydrology reconstructions of on early Earth and Mars. A depositional model for meandering rivers without land plants.
