Reading #TheLearningGame by @anafabrega11. About a third of the way in and am way past hooked! Well crafted arguments on the need for our focus to be on authentic learning experiences rather than allowing kids to master the game of school while actually learning little!

At the gym listening to @bbray27 podcast w/@mexusmx whose been an educator for 32 years and has traveled throughout the world and is currently an admin in Mexico. He attended a private school in NJ. He was taught to work for what he wanted in life vs his peers in school, & joined

Yes! We put together a video documenting all the work our maintenance and cleaning staff do over the summer and share it at orientation. We have them present to received our deepest appreciation!
No one works harder in the summer than the school custodial staff.
